The Scholls Ferry Automotive Team

Todd Grail

Todd Grail has been the owner here at Scholls Ferry Automotive since 1999 having been in the automotive repair business since 1988 and owning his own shop since 1992. His interests include skiing, golf, home projects and riding roller coasters with his wife Malena.

Todd's number one priority at Scholls Ferry Automotive is to provide a friendly and comfortable place for employees and customers, where it feels more like a family member taking care of their automotive needs.

Anthony Fong

Anthony Fong is our lead technician. He has been a part of the Scholls Ferry Automotive family since 1999. Previous to working with us he was a technician for several years at Goodyear Tire Co. in California, Nissan in California and Northwest Jeep here in Portland. He is an ASE Master Certified and L1 Advance Certified Technician he is a proud father and husband who enjoys spending his off work time riding ATVs with his wife and kids.

Certifications: Master ASE, including engine repair, auto transmission, manual transmission, suspension and steering, brakes, electrical, heating and air conditioning, engine performance and L1.

Gnate Brown

Gnate is our resident off road enthusiast. He has been a member of the Scholls Ferry Automotive team since 2004. He graduated UTI with a degree in Automotive. Prior to joining us at Scholls Ferry he was a technician at Jeep for 5 years. Gnate is an Accredited ASE Technician. In his off time, Gnate enjoys several outdoor activities with his wife, his daughter, his son and scooter (his beloved wiener dog) including hunting, camping, dirt bike riding and off roading.

Certifications: ASE, including engine repair, auto transmission, manual transmission, suspension and steering, brakes, electrical, and engine performance.

Adam Smith

Adam Smith is our longest tenured employee. Adam started his employment at Scholls Ferry Automotive in 1993 as an apprentice. Since then he has become an Accredited ASE Technician specializing in heavy line work. In his off time Adam spends time with his two boys and his wife enjoying the great outdoors camping, fishing and hunting.

Certifications: ASE, including engine repair, suspension and steering, brakes, heating and air conditioning, and engine performance.

Gabe Peterson

Gabe Peterson has been with Scholls Ferry Automotive for 7 years. He is our resident jack-of-all-trades. You may find him working the bays in the back one day or working the counter another day. In his off time he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, couching kids soccer, target practicing, camping and riding his Harleys.

Kris Weinbender

Kris Weinbender has been with Scholls Ferry Automotive for more than 10 years. At 17, he started out sweeping the floors and has worked his way up to managing the shop. He is an ASE Certified Parts Specialist, ASE Certified Service Advisor, as well as two ASE tests away from receiving his ASE Master Certificate. In his off time he enjoys spending time with his newborn son, building 4x4s, dirt bike riding, camping and anything else related to the outdoors.

Certifications: ASE, including engine repair, suspension and steering, brakes, electrical, heating and air conditioning, engine performance, parts expert, and service advisor.

Zoii, Our Shop Dog

Zoii has been the Grail's family pet since 2003 and hanging out and greeting the customer's at Scholls Ferry Automotive for years we jokingly refer to her as the customer grrreeter.

(She likes everyone) so if you come down don't forget that Zoii always likes to be petted and a dog biscuit is even better.
